THE 2ND ANNUAL ACORN PRODUCERS AND BUYERS FORUM

All growers and food producers are invited to attend the Producers and Buyers Forum: Local to Global.

Hosted by ACORN, the Forum will take place on November 2nd at Middlebury College's Wilson Hall in the McCullough Student Center. The Forum will include a Keynote by Greg Georgaklis of _Farmers to You_, round table discussions on emerging local food market trends, the Amazon effect, future opportunities, and breakout sessions.

Panelists include Jonathan Slason of RFP Logistics, Kathleen Norris of Homestead Hops, Gemma DiPalma of Five Acres Farm, Ben Maniscalco of Benitos Hot Sauce, Rose Wilson an independent food and farm business consultant, among notable speakers.

ACORN hosted the first forum in March of 2016 to bring together buyers and producers around topics of interest to increase distribution opportunities. The Forum is a great opportunity to develop new relationships and stimulate new business. Executive Director Lynn Coale, puts it this way “As we strive to increase the use of local foods, our efforts are enhanced when we bring buyers and producers together.”
