DEC and VRGA: Act 148 and Your Business

Act 148, Vermont's Universal Recycling Law, goes into full effect July 1, 2020. On that date, all organic waste (food scraps etc) will need to be diverted from the waste stream. The Department of Environmental Conservation partnered with us to offer information on what the ban entails, how to be in compliance with the legislation, how the ban will be enforced and more.

DOL Overtime Final Rules Changes

November 2019

On January 1st, 2020 the Department of Labor will begin enforcing a new overtime rule. Changes include modifications of base minimum salary amounts, differences in the way bonuses may be applied to base salaries and other small and large details. We partnered with the Department of Labor Wages and Hours Division for this webinar that gives you all the relevant info on the change, including formula's for calculating whether employees meet certain criteria for salary exemption!
